The Rales Health Center was awarded the 2024 Academic Pediatric Association’s Health Care Delivery Program Award. The Health Care Delivery Program Award recognizes an innovative and effective program that supports health care in the context of a teaching setting. The one program selected for this award, the Rales Health Center has supported students at KIPP Baltimore through innovative health and wellbeing programming with an equity lens in close partnership with school staff, families, and community partners. Rales Health Center leaders have also trained and mentored countless trainees including undergraduate, nursing, nurse practitioner, public health and medical students, pediatrics and preventive medicine residents, and fellows.Â
