On May 30th 2024, more than 150 guests joined us in-person at The Baltimore Symposium on School Health to learn about the state of student health and health services in Baltimore City.  Participants heard from field leaders on four topics: Mental and Behavioral Health, Immigrant and Refugee Health, School-Based and School-Linked Health, and Community Connections.Â
Participants took the opportunity to network, hear from leaders and organizations who, through innovative programs and partnerships, are working to support the needs of students in Baltimore City Public Schools.Â
The symposium was hosted by a city-wide multi-institution planning committee, with support from the Johns Hopkins Center for School Health. The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing hosted the event.Â
