The Johns Hopkins Rales Center for the Integration of Health and Education was awarded the 2024 Child Advocate Award from the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (MDAAP).
The Child Advocate Award is presented to a non-MDAAP chapter member or group who has, through collaboration with the MDAAP chapter and advocacy for the needs of children and adolescents, made a significant contribution to the well-being of children and adolescents in Maryland.
Sara Johnson, Rales Center director, and Kate Connor, medical director, accepted the award on behalf of the Center at the MDAAP’s annual meeting on Sept. 14 in Linthicum.
