Laura Prichett, PhD, MHS is a Lead with the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Data Management (BEAD) Core in the Center for Child Health Research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She received her PhD from the Department of Population and Family Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health after receiving an MHS from the BSPH Department of Population Dynamics. Her areas of research include long-term effects of low birth weight, adolescent sexual health and education, perinatal epidemiology, and reproductive health policy in countries of the former Soviet Union. Her quantitative strengths include the use of multilevel mixed-effect models to address unobserved heterogeneity, survival analysis, and the management and analysis of large longitudinal datasets.
