Brandon Smith, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a proud Baltimore native, born and raised in the city. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins. His research and career interests revolve around improving the lives of children with chronic disease through patient and family engagement. As a member of the Rales Health Center team, he is looking at how the health center impacts a child’s engagement in their health and also the whole healthcare system.
