A dedication ceremony for The Ruth and Norman Rales Center for the Integration of Health and Education was held at KIPP Baltimore on Friday, November 13, 2015. Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) is a network of public charter schools and a proud partner with the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and The Ruth and Norman Rales Foundation. This historic ribbon cutting event was emceed by 7th grade students at KIPP Ujima Village Academy, Jayla Campbell-McClurkin and Tyree Davis, and included special performances by the KIPP Ujima Step Team. The order of events included special remarks by President Ron Daniels of Johns Hopkins University, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake of Baltimore City, The Honorable Benjamin Cardin, The Honorable Elijah E. Cummings, Kate Mehr, Executive Director of KIPP, Drs. Tina Cheng and Sara Johnson, Co-Directors of the Rales Health Center, and Mr. Joshua B. Rales, President and Trustee of the Normal and Ruth Rales Foundation.  Watch the videoÂ
